Who needs summer camp when you could be entertained at home?
This Southlake home has everything a kid (or adult) could dream of, from an indoor trampoline park to a batting area. You could say that the home is an entertaining compound. There are multiple sporting facilities, including a bowling alley and a half-court for basketball. A full acre on the property is turfed, which could be used for other sports. And if you prefer less active entertainment, you can watch a movie in the home theater or cook in one of the home’s three kitchens.
The home at 1469 Sunshine Lane in Southlake was custom-built in 2016 and is located on a 3.62-acre property. With eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms and three half-bathrooms plus the extensive indoor entertaining areas, the home totals out at 31,234 square feet.
Listing agent Michael Hershenberg of Keller Williams Realty said that walking into the home feels like walking up to Caesars Palace or the Bellagio in Las Vegas. He said the grand primary suite feels like a luxury hotel room when you walk in.
“I feel like I just booked a Vegas suite, and I’m walking into this beautiful penthouse overlooking the Strip,” Hershenberg said.

The home has three levels of living space, one of which is the basement. The home is built into the hillside, and you can walk out from the basement to the backyard and outdoor entertaining areas, Hershenberg said.
The main level of the home includes multiple living areas, the main kitchen, a dining room, two studies, a theater, a guest suite, a flex space and a large covered patio. The kitchen has three countertop islands, one with seating. The home also has a walk-in pantry and a butler’s pantry.
The primary suite and four more bedrooms are on the second level of the home along with an additional living area. The primary suite has two full bathrooms that share a shower and bathtub, plus two walk-in closets complete with display cabinets. The home has two separate apartments above the garages.
The basement level could certainly be considered the entertainment hub of the home. There, you’ll find all of those aforementioned sporting amenities, plus an additional media room (which Hershenberg designated as the kids’ media room), a bar, a gym, a living area with game tables and two kitchens. One kitchen is the chef’s kitchen and another is a full serving kitchen, which could also be considered the outdoor kitchen. The serving kitchen is heated and cooled, Hershenberg said, but has windows that can open up to the outdoor patio. Outside, the home has a pool with two spas and plenty of outdoor patio space. The home also has an elevator.
The home is on the market for $24,500,000.
