  • Culture & Music Festival (6:00 – 8:00 pm) @ Algonquin Regional High School, Football Field, 79 Bartlett St, Northborough: Northborough – Southborough Coalition for Equity is hosting the festival. Join them for an evening of music, dancing, and community. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Early Childhood Fair (10:00 – 12:00 pm) @ Finn School (behind near the playground), 60 Richards Road: The free, informative, fun time is hosted by the preschool programs run by Northborough – Southborough Public Schools. The purpose is to connect families with small children to community resources for early childhood education. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Celtic Chocolate (1:00 – 2:00 pm) @ Celtic Chocolate: A Klassic Creations program highlighting the history of chocolate in Ireland, Irish chocolate pioneers, Irish lore, famous Irish foods, & Irish poetry. Includes sample tasting. For details, see dedicated post.

  • Walking Group for Seniors (8:30 am) @ Trottier Middle School’s outdoor track: Free walking group organized by the Southborough Senior Center, see newsletter. Walkers generally go for an hour, but continue for as long as you wish. The location is a loop, so feel free to join late.

  • Preschool Story Time (10:30 – 11:15 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: Join Miss Kim for stories and craft based on a weekly theme. No registration required.

  • Young Scientists STEM Beginnings ,10:30 – 11:30 am) @ Southborough Library Children’s Room: A free in-person series for children, ages 3-6 to learn STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) concepts through hands-on activities, story time and simple experiments. The program through the Southborough Library is sponsored by the YMCA Family & Community Partnership.
  • Food Truck Festival (3:30 – 7:30 pm) @ St. Mark’s meadow (corner of Rte 85 and Rte 30): A community event series organized by the Southborough Rotary Club.   • Summer Book Sale (10:00 am – 3:00 pm) @ Southborough Library: The Friends of the Southborough Library’s annual June sale selling books of all sorts, plus DVDs and CDs. One free book for each child. For details, see dedicated post.
  • Key Autism Service’s Open House (11:00 am – 1:00 pm) @ Key Autism Service, 333 Turnpike Rd: Families are invited to enjoy free ice cream, face painting, and balloon twisting.
