LSU baseball 2023 roster exits, potential departures and projections

BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU baseball coach Jay Johnson apologized to the media for the delay.

Johnson had to push back the annual season wrap-up and offseason look-ahead with the media because of how busy he had been over the last few weeks.

“It may be hard to understand from the outside, but it’s like the toughest and busiest time of the year,” Johnson said.

The year may have ended on June 6 when the Tigers lost to Southern Miss in the Hattiesburg Regional, but it was only the start of what will be an active offseason for LSU. Here’s a look at what Johnson’s roster might look like in 2023, including a look at who is leaving, who could be leaving and who can step up next season.
