Here are the top three stories today in Atlanta:

  1. Passport Atlanta is handing Atlanta’s youth the keys to the city. Passport Atlanta is a free app that provides opportunities for Atlanta students to connect with the community. Participants are given tasks to complete throughout the city and the resources needed to achieve their goals. Click the link to learn more about Passport Atlanta. (SaportaReport)
  2. The Gumball 3000 rally is in Atlanta today. The 22nd annual rally begins at 4:00 pm at Atlantic Station. Participants will have the opportunity to meet celebrities and view stunning supercars. Money raised through the rally is used to support underprivileged children from around the world. (CBS 46 News)
  3. Enforcement for short-term rental operators has been extended by the Atlanta Department of City Planning. The enforcement is meant to set expectations for short-term rentals to provide a sense of quality control within the industry. Enforcement will now go until Sept. 6, 2022. (WSB Atlanta)
