Tales of the Walking Dead: Who is Anthony Edwards?

The Walking Dead universe has welcomed a large group of new actors to TWD Family. This is courtesy of the new anthology spinoff Tales of the Walking Dead, This new series features stand-alone stories that require an actor to commit to one episode that takes approximately ten days to film. This is a much more manageable commitment than, say, a Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) or Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) character that has lasted twelve years. This has opened up the potential for many actors, some of whom are tremendous fans of The Walking Dead, to participate in the universe. One said actor is Anthony Edwards.

Fans of Edwards were very excited to see him join TWDU. He portrays Dr. Everett in the fourth episode of season 1 of Tales of the Walking Dead titled “Amy/Dr. Everett,” which he stars in with Poppy Liu as Amy. Dr. Everett is a scientist who has lived in an isolated area for the duration of the outbreak known as the “dead sector” while studying the walkers. The site has been uninhabited by another other than Everett until he meets a spirited settler, Amy.

It is an exciting episode that is another example of how people respond differently to the apocalypse and how diverse Tales of the Walking Dead episodes are. Each one introduces new characters and new locations around the US.
